Lush Nottingham - Blogger Event

Tuesday evening I was lucky enough to attend a blogger event at the Lush store in Nottingham, which was designed to give us a closer look at some of the ranges at Lush. Firstly we were greeted and spoken to by the lovely Immy who organised the event; she gave us all a name badge! Hand made out of recycled paper, how adorable!

We were all offered a drink and there were some yummy treats to nibble on.

There were sections with different Lush ranges for us to go and visit depending on what we were most interested in. Now the first thing I did was go to the Emotional Brilliance section which is the Lush make-up range, for those of you that have been reading my blog for a while you may remember the post I did for the launch of Emotional Brilliance. I mainly went for a look as I love the readings!

For some reason I picked really bright colours this time, which I wasn't expecting. Stuart did my reading for me, and I had ended up choosing 'Ambition' 'Healthy' and 'Calm' which relates to me as I am currently applying for jobs, writing my dissertation and in desperate need for some calm! You should definitely get yourself down to Lush to check out the EB range if you haven't already, even if it just to see the dry ice coolness.

Next I headed down to check out the new perfume, I already wear the solid Vanillary perfume but was yet to see the new Gorilla range! There are some very bold scents that are worth a smell, I personally liked Furze which is similar to my current perfume but with added coconut. The best thing about the new range is the bottles that they come in:

How adorable are these!

Here's a little snap of what I wore:

Finally I went to the last section which was made up of the massage bars which if you have tried them before they now have a new formula. The new recipe is mixed differently so now melts quicker, a rather delicious comparison can be made with chocolate, the old recipe was more like a dairy milk where as the new one melt like an aero. Yum.

For those of you that haven't used the massage bars before, I would really recommend them for moisturising your skin! I use one when I get out the shower and sort of pad myself dry to lock in moisture. Lush were superduper lovely and let us pick some pieces to take home! I will hopefully get a review of the pieces I have, probably a massage bar for those of you that are interested.

So check out Lush for some of their new ranges for some cruelty free, ethical deliciousness. Plus if you want to read more about the values or history of Lush you can find them on the Official website - or if you in Lush Nottingham have a chat with Aida!

Thank you Lush!
