Leather Skirt and a Statement Knit

You cant got wrong with abit of monochrome can you ladies, it's the most simple colour combination. I do love to see how different peoples styles create such varying looks with just two colours, I personally like to mix textures or go with a statement piece with a monochrome look - (do send me links to your monochrome looks so I can have a nosey!). It looks like monochrome is set to be a trend for SS14 also, though more all out block colours rather than patterns etc. which is a bonus for everyone that purchased white and black pieces for SS13.
The jumper I am wearing from She Likes I absolutely love the detail on the front, it feels all medieval or something, then paired with sequins and sheer snippets - a dream come true. The sheer sections are quite robust, we've all experienced a sheer fabric snag on the first time wearing something (ahem, Primark blouses anyone?) but this jumper passed the 'snuggling with my cat test'. Yes guys that is a test, I have certain trousers which means little ol' Albus gets no more than a belly rub and I have claw friendly dresses in which we can have a right old cuddle on the sofa. I had a wee hug with Albus whilst wearing this knit and was happy to find no snags in the sheer fabric.
My beautiful shoes were a birthday gift, which I shared on instagram but never got round to featuring on the blog just yet. They are the comfiest things ever, and they are great for smartening up a basic jeans and tee combo. If you are thinking of purchasing I'd try them on instore as I found them to come up very small!
Thank you all for reading!
