As some of you may know from previous blog posts I recently started a new job, I work as a one on one teaching assistant for an adorable little boy with ASD. I am absolutely loving it but I had a few issues with my wardrobe as I am a big fan of crop tops and obviously they aren't exactly primary school friendly. But after clearing out my wardrobe and finding some golden oldies I have managed to sort out some smarter looking outfits that still keep my sense of style and this is one of them.
I love a good clashing colour combo! Plus I think velvet just give any outfit at least 2 more cool points. The blazer and the bag are key pieces to creating a smarter look from my already existing casual clothes. The bag was sent to me by the lovely people over at LYDC bag (Not heard of them? Have a little gander here) and I love love love it. It fits my laptop in perfectly and has a great amount of compartments - three or more compartments in a bag and I am sold. I've used it here with the little handles but this one does come with a longer across body strap which would be ideal for a commute.
