Dr Marten - Vegan Sandals

After weeks of visiting the page repeatedly and lusting after a pair of these sandals I decided to take the plunge and invest in them. I practically live in the vegan shoe and thought it made sense to invest in a well made and long lasting sandal. They were the same quality I was expecting to arrive, the sole was as chunky as the usual shoes/boots and the lining was cushioned. The fabric was the same as the shoe and the buckle was the perfect size (and not at all painful on my ankle).  I thought that I would fall head over heels in love with them, unfortunately for me this did not happen. No matter how much I willed myself to love them and no matter how many times I looked in the mirror, something just wasn't right. I have a very high arch in my foot and need quite a bit of support and these just didn't do it for me. My foot seemed to slump to one side and wasn't held in place so I very reluctantly returned them to ASOS yesterday. I am still on the hunt for the perfect sandal for this summer.

If you are looking for vegan sandals, I would still recommend checking these out. They were super comfy to walk around in and my sister has them and wore them for her week holiday without a blister in sight. ASOS do free returns too so it's worth giving them a try if you like the style, you may be more successful than me.
