Bright Yellow Jumper and Some Pretty Necklaces

This basic yellow jumper is one of my favourite items of clothing at the moment, surprisingly as there is not a print in sight. I got it for Christmas from my lovely mum, she definitely chose well. The inside of the jumper is this made of this super soft snuggly fabric that makes me feel like I'm spending the day in my jammies. Which is the ideal scenario clothes wise. It's important to me to have pieces like this jumper that are basics but that can be styled in lots of different ways. Some of my bright printed pieces can be tricky at times and can't always just be thrown on last minute. Which I do plenty of in the week when rushing to get ready for work.

I own a fair amount of jewellery, mainly high street pieces, but sometimes I can end up leaving my big statement necklaces to one side as it all look quite overdone when I have a statement print or other bold accessories. So as of late, I have been opting for more dainty pieces that can be layered together. The two necklaces above are from Darbira, they are really cute. I also like the idea of having a piece that someone has made rather than the stuff you can find on the high street.

On a final note, these amazing silver shoes were from ASOS a little while back but they have since sold out. I always like to have a silver pair in my rotation. I had a pair that I wore to death, literally to their death. These platforms above were a replacement for the ones I used to wear all the time. Generally I like to keep an eye on a good pair of platforms so I've picked this pair for those that are interested - they are quite the bargain:
