Sometimes I like to dress all fancy, sometimes I love to clash textures but sometimes I need to rock a basic jeans and a shirt combo. These are some of my ultimate favourites items of clothing that I own, and together they produce the comfiest and most simple outfit ever. 

Scarves are only essential in the colder months I guess, but a statement scarf can transform a look completely.

An oversized shirt, in my opinion, is something every girls needs in her wardrobe. Button it up and pair with jeans for a basic outfit, tuck it into a high waist for something feminine or leave it undone over a dress for a summer kimono feel.

Of course jeans should be a basic in anyones wardobe, even if you are not in love with them, there is a jean out there for everyone! I love super skinny high waist jeans and oversized 'mom' jeans the most. Pair them with a shirt or jumper and you have the comfort of pyjamas or pair them with a cropped vest and heels and you are ready for a night with the girls.

A flat shoe - this could be a pair of loafers, boots or trainers depending on your style but a good pair of flats are, I think, neccessary in every wardrobe.
