This was one of my first day's in Vancouver and we couldn't have asked for better weather! I hadn't expected such a beautiful scene with the beach looking out onto the mountains with a city towering behind. I knew it was beautiful, I'd seen photos before but it is different seeing it for yourself. This beach was lovely and we came back a few times to eat lunch over during our stay.

I wore this cute vintage dress which I've worn a few times before (see the dress styled differently) and it is another £1 bargain from the East End Thrift Store. I paired it with a few layers as it did get a little breezy by the water plus I do love a bit of layering. I wore a striped crop top under the dress for extra warmth it was also a bargain at £4 from Primark. I imagine you'll be seeing much more of it this summer.

I often see fashion articles when it comes to the cooler weather, particularly recently, about the cardigan 'being back' and that is such a strange concept for me. It's such a frequently worn basic in my wardrobe that I wouldn't really consider not having a cardigan. I prefer the chunky kind to layer up in the warmer months, as lets face it we aren't getting that much sun in the UK. It lasts a week tops.

I have a couple more outfits to share with you from my trip to Vancouver. I wondered if you'd be interested in a little Travel Guide in a similar style to my Budapest Travel Guide?
