A Vintage Summer Dress
I think it is safe to say that this will be my last summer dress, bare legs and a pair of sunnies outfit that I post until next year. We have well and truly entered Autumn. The rain this past week has been a reminder of what is to come. Yes some of the weather can be a bit rubbish but it also means, layers, snuggly knits, hot chocolate, cinnamon and then festivities. I'm quite excited, I have to say. But before I get ahead of myself and start a countdown until I can put up my Christmas tree I have one last set of snaps to share with you.
This bright patterned vintage dress was a gem that I found whilst thrift shopping in Vancouver. I've layered it here with a sheer tee but I reckon I can pair it with a knit over the next few weeks and get some more life out of this summer dress before it is packed away until next year.
I think I will make it my mission to put together some transitional outfits using some of my summery clothes to get some more wear out of them. Plus the flowy fabrics and fun prints will keep up my mood as the days get darker.
