New In Autumn Pieces That I'm Loving

 Hello Autumn!

It arrived pretty quickly and with a whole lot of rain didn’t it? While I have some sadness about the summer months passing us by in so quickly and in such strange times, I have to say I am really looking forward to getting into my winter clothes! Autumn is definitely my favourite season. I mean, it’s all fun and games until the snow hits and we have a month or so of sludge and ice haha but before that, I love these wintery months.

I love wandering around the shops and getting inspo for my winter outfit but that isn’t really going to happen this year. I have been in clothing shops on a few occasions this year but most of my shopping has been online, eBay or charity shops when they eventually reopened. As I’ve spent more time browsing online than in shops I thought I would share some of my favourite pieces from places I’ve been looking.

Blue  //   Faux Fur   //    Green Check   //   Leather Look

First of all we have coats, I love looking at what ASOS have in as they stock so many brands. This blue coat is an absolute stunner and I added it to my saved items as soon as I saw it. But after browsing I spotted that there are loads of coats in the outlet section that still have lots of sizes left, if you check out the Brave Soul outlet lines there are some bargains to be had. The others are from a mix of different high street shops, the green check is probably my favourite after the blue ASOS coat.

Check Pattern   //   Chunky Roll Neck   //   Mustard Cardigan   //   Pink Frill Neck

Knitwear is one of my favourite things about autumn, it's the piece that truly makes an outfit cosy and snuggly. I like a buy mine in a size up so that they are a little more roomy to enable me to layer underneath. A chunky cardigan like this mustard one makes me feel like I'm out and about in a socially acceptable version of a dressing gown! The classic 90's thin button up cardigan is back and while I like this look, it doesn't feel that winter appropriate so the check pattern one above is how I would nod to the trend. Where is your favourite place to get your knitwear?

Two Tone   //   Green Croc   //   Heeled Boots   //   Pink Sole

I'm already a fan of a big chunky shoe but when it hits autumn it means it's time for a big stomper of a boot (often in a size up for me so I can wear big fluffy socks!).  How amazing are these two tone boots from Monki!? I think they're really cool but I'm probably not going to get these ones as they wouldn't fit into my wardrobe well, I just had to share them with you. The green croc shoes are amazing, I absolutely love them and keep adding them to my basket - I haven't gone through with the purchase yet but I'm sure you will be seeing them very soon. The Chelsea boots with the pink sole are so dreamy and I can really see these fitting into my wardrobe. I love a pop of colour! I do want to get a pair of shoes frim Koi as I'm regularly on site browsing but never gone through with a purchase. I have many regrets about not buying the cow print Mary Janes!

Silver Bag   //   Yellow Bag   //   Check Scarf   //    Shearling Bucket Hat

I'm a big fan of silver bags, I used to have this amazing oversized silver clutch which I used all the time, so I know I'd get lots of wear out of this bag. When autumn hits I love a faux fur accessory, I actually have a really similar bag but in black which I found in a charity shop a few years ago. I adore the yellow faux fur of this one though, so pretty and such a good way to bring a little bit of sunshine to a wintery day. The final piece, the shearling bucket hat, is an absolute winner for me, it's taken the summery trend of a bucket hat and given it a wintery twist. It also comes in brown if that's more your thing.

What pieces are on your wish list for these colder months?
