Patchwork Bucket Hat and Purple Mom Jeans

This location not far from my house is what has been keeping my sanity (well some of it) this year. While I haven't been the best at making sure I get out everyday for a walk, I do try to walk a few times a week and this is my most regular walking location. On early morning journeys there are lots of cows in the field which is super cute, when the sun is shining at the weekend there are lots of dog walkers around and there are always people running. I like that I get to see other humans, especially in the full lockdown periods and the animals are just an extra little thing I enjoy.
On this particular day, my walk didn't last long as it started pouring it down but I wanted to share this outfit as it has some new goodies but also a little more of the location. My boyfriend is a big help when it comes to photos for my blog but I still do my fair share of tripod and self timer shots. I actually used to bring my tripod down to this path to take photos on my own but it's so much busier lately that I've not really wanted to. So a little side note to thank Zhi for being a superstar and always being up for taking photos of me!
The first thing that is new in this outfit is my hat! I love a good hat, while beanies are my go to, bucket hats are also a favourite of mine. I love a good bit of 90's style thrown into an outfit. I'd been watching this hat for a while and wondering whether I could pull it off. And do you know what made me actually buy it? I've been binging the amazing "Sister,Sister" since it arrived on Netflix recently and they have the most amazing wardrobes on the show!! They have some great hats and I thought why not give into the nostalgia and get myself a cute winter hat. I'm so glad I did. It's actually a bargain for less than £10 on eBay! You can find the hat I purchased here and then another seller has them also.
The second thing that is new to my wardrobe are these lovely purple mom jeans. These are from Nasty Gal and are made from vintage fabric apparently (I guess an attempt at fulfilling some sort of sustainable box for them). I got them from the Swap Family Facebook group for a fiver plus delivery, new with tags for £8.10 - what a bargain! I've had some real gems from that Facebook group so if you are into swap shops and bargain second hand finds then check out the page.
I actually got myself another pair of jeans on the swap group page lately, I don't fit into most of my trousers anymore so the low prices on the swap page and some eBay bargains have help replenish my wardrobe with my new sizing. You can see a few of the pairs I got myself on the Instagram Reels that I did :)
Have you lovely love treated yourself to anything recently?
