Back to the Office - Work Outfit

I welcomed in the New Year with an extended break from social media etc. It was very much needed and I had such a wonderful Christmas with my family. I was lucky because I almost missed out with my mum catching Covid but with the shortened isolation period and a negative lateral flow from my mum on Christmas Eve, I was able to buy train tickets home.
I started a new job in December and had my first day in an office since March 2020 recently. It was a little daunting as it has just been so long! I wanted to share my first back to the office outfit.
I tend to
stick to colours still but go a little bit smarter than my usual day look. I
also wanted to get a feel for what people in the office wear. On my first day
in, I opted for this bold, pink blouse which I bagged in the New Look sale a
year or so ago. I loved good clash of colours but this one actually
matches quite well as there is pink in the check pattern on these trousers. The trousers are a go to for me, I have a couple of pairs in the same wide leg shape - I find them an easy piece to throw together with a tee and some boots.

I actually love these trousers so much that when I put weight on over the Covid period I did some serious hunting on eBay, Depop etc and found them in a bigger size. They're originally from Miss Selfridge quite a few years ago now but I love the shape and my first pair lasted me a little while. So if you like the look of these I'd check out Vinted and Depop for a pair. They also have some similar ones on ASOS which I've linked above :)
I
actually invested in a few second hand blazers for my new job. I thought that
some of my more casual outfits with jeans could do with a touch of smartening
up. I'm looking forward to styling these up. So I'm sure I'll share some more office outfits with you soon :)
