A Return to Blogging and sharing my Second-Hand Style

Hello beautiful people, it's been some time since my last post, which was actually a post about me returning to writing more on this blog. But life gets busy and even with the best intentions things get missed. With my blog I do genuinely miss writing posts, it feels like I'd like to go back to the more old school blogging that I used to do. Though with maybe a bit more meat to the posts, lets be honest if you scroll back through my blog history they weren't exactly all winners. I've had this space on the internet for so long now that it is like a little time capsule for me.

Some things that have changed over the years in terms of my fashion and buying habits are that I now mostly shop second hand, I've shopped second hand for as long as I can remember, I've always loved a vintage shop and a good charity shop rummage but I used to also over consume fast fashion which I've stopped. I rarely by new things but I do sometimes buy something that I think will get lots of use out of it. My style has evolved too, I used to wear much more black many moons ago and slowly things got brighter and more colourful, I love this side of my style but I also still love wearing black - I think I’ve sometimes avoided it because people expect me to always be in bright colours (which is a bit silly really). So expect a bit of both going forward.

I hope to use this space to share some of the things I love

- Styling pieces multiple ways

- Sharing and rewearing my current wardrobe goodies

- Tips on shopping second hand and brands to search

- Styling tips and ideas

- Possibly a little beauty here and there as I'm more interested in skincare as I've gotten older.

- And finally I'd love to get out my sewing machine again and share some of the things I adjust or make!

Well this was just a short post to say hello and hopefully motivate myself back into the swing of things with these posts. If you love colourful outfits, vintage finds, and making the most of your wardrobe, then stick around and come back again soon.
